Please complete the new patient paperwork before your visit; this gives me vital information about how to best use our time together. At your first visit, we'll talk in depth about the information you shared and clarify your treatment priorities. I will also take your pulses, look at your tongue, and pay attention to all sorts of other subtle cues that guide me to better understanding your body’s unique ecosystem. After this health intake, we will shift focus to your treatment which may involve acupressure with therapeutic essential oils, acupuncture, massage, flower essences and more. Questions are encouraged along the way!

I do not accept insurance at this time but am happy to provide you with a superbill at the end of each session with the necessary insurance information for you to submit to your insurance carrier.

Courses of treatment are very individual and are based on the nature, severity and duration of the complaint, as well as your lifestyle, and your willingness to work together in partnership during the course of treatment. Sometimes acute issues can be resolved in a few treatments, while chronic or life-long issues need regular, frequent care over a longer period, transitioning to maintenance treatments as needed.

I accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express Including HSA cards and Venmo.

My rates are:

​Initial 90 minute Intake and Treatment  -  $180.00

​Follow up 60 minute Acupuncture Session  -  $110.00

​(including bodywork and essential oils)

A percentage of my practice is open to trades and reduced rates- please inquire if finances feel like a limiting factor to you seeking support.

When you hear the word “needle” images of painful, sharp things might come to mind. But not all needles are alike. The hypodermic needles used for shots are thick and hollow. That’s because they are meant to move blood out or inject fluid into your body. 

Acupuncture needles are entirely different. They have no hollow center and are hairfine, literally slipping between the pores. The gauge (meaning the size) of an acupuncture needle is so fine, I’ve seen pictures of 15 acupuncture needles inside one hypodermic needle. 

When the needles are inserted you may feel nothing or you may experience a tiny pricking sensation. As the needles get to work you may feel a warmth, tingling, ache, heaviness or pressure. This moment, when you feel an acupuncture point working, is known as 'de qi', or the arrival of qi. That’s what we want! Another way of thinking about de qi is that the acupuncture needle has accessed the energy needed to stimulate a healing response.
